Can legendary action hero Sonny Chiba (Kill Bill, Volume 1), save the planet from the ultimate destruction of the human race?

The Navy’s test of a new torpedo for a group of journalists ends abruptly when a strange creature swims into view. Reporters Ken (Chiba) and Jenny (Peggy Neal) sense something sinister and decide to investigate. Unbeknownst to them, an evil scientist is busily creating a new race of water cyborgs to populate his futuristic underwater kingdom.

During their deep-sea dive, Jenny has a frightening encounter with one of the creatures, but the Navy says her story sounds fishy. The couple returns to the ocean for a closer look. They’re soon captured by a band of water cyborgs and meet the madman who’s making plans for their inhuman transformation.

At 3,000 feet below sea level, how will they ever escape?
